Kapital for Companies

The Industrial Engineering and Management students of LUT University can be recognized by their dark blue overalls. Overall advertisements are a great way for companies to gain visibility among both Kapital members and other students. The overalls will be used by the students for the next five years on average, so a one-time sponsorship guarantees long term visibility.

The overalls for the new annual course will be ordered in the fall, so companies are expected to contact Kapital no later than September regarding overalls advertisements. This is the best way to interact with our international students who are just starting their studies in Finland, and to ensure your company and your products are the ones our members will use during their studies in Finland.

Company visits, i.e. excursions, are a great opportunity to get to know students and tell them about your company’s activities. With excursions, students will get the opportunity to meet your company’s personnel, see your operations, get to know you as a company, and possibly a future employer. As the recipient of the excursion, your company has a great opportunity to get to know the graduate engineers of the future and increase your positive image among students.

Excursions allow you to present your company in a variety of ways, and the program and participants can be tailored exactly to your company’s needs. Excursions are a great opportunity to present your company, have students wonder about their future opportunities in your company, and present potential trainee programs and thesis jobs, thus acting as a direct recruitment event for students.

A relaxed and functional excursion is a sure way to create a positive image of your company and get students interested in their opportunities in your company!

Kapital is estimating to organize around 20+ events this year, most of them being after the academic year starts in the fall. This is the easiest place to interact with our international students who have just started their studies here and are thinking about where they will work after graduation.

We have wide range of different events from bowling to Sitz and, of course, sauna evenings where your company can promote their products or summer jobs to our students or just sit down and have an informal conversation about why your company is the best in the field.

Kapital’s annual ball, our largest event of the year, is organized each year to celebrate our guild’s anniversary!

The annual ball will be attended by representatives from student guilds and array of technological organizations from all across Finland. Besides that, our stakeholders and members from all around the world will also be attending the event. This event will offer an excellent opportunity to showcase your brand/company, products, advertisements, and interest for all of our participants and guests.

Besides the main event, the annual ball, we will also have smaller events leading up to the main events and also a herring breakfast, also known as, sillis, where you can also have the opportunity to showcase your company, products, and advertisements.

Through Kapital’s partnership, the company gets access to the education program and thus enables academic cooperation in courses, for example guest lectures. Cooperation can range from bachelor’s to master’s degree courses.
