We bring together IEM students from many backgrounds and demographics to promote their interests at the university, in the community and in professional environments. Nevertheless, we hope to keep you entertained and happy during your studies by hosting many fun student events and activities throughout the academic year.

We are the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) guild, Kapital, for all IEM students at the LUT Lahti campus. Kapital was established in November 2023, making us one of the more recent student guilds at LUT University. In the spring of 2024, we separated from the now discontinued guild, Aether, to best serve IEM students’ interests. You can spot IEM students from the dark blue overalls at both LUT campuses, and the IEM Lahti students have light blue details on them.
